Hi, I’m Özlem, an architect and the founder of Between Buildings, based in Groningen. I love discovering the stories hidden in ordinary streets; why a building looks the way it does, how a square came to feel the way it does, and what small details reveal about a city and the people who live in it. I created Between Buildings to share Groningen from a different perspective. Rather than simply showing you the main sights, I invite you to slow down, look closer and discover the city through its buildings, streets and public spaces. My walks are relaxed, curious and designed for everyone. Don't worry, you don’t need to know anything about architecture. Whether you’ve just arrived in Groningen, have lived here for years, or are simply passing through, I’d love to help you see the city with fresh eyes.
